Mr Vasan Srinivasan


Mr Vasan Srinivasan is a well known community leader who is respected by not only the ethnic community groups but also the main stream Australian community .
Since 1987 his contribution to all the communities in Victoria is highly commendable.
Vasan is the Member of Victorian Government Ethnic Business Council. November 2011 appointed by Hon. Louise Asher Minister for Small Business Victoria.
Vasan is the Founder, Member, Chairman of the Multicultural Liberal Business Club (MLBC). MLBC was established to provide an opportunity for Small Businesses owners to interact with parliamentarians to share ideas, concerns & goals.

 Confederation of Indian Australian Association Inc. (CIAA). Elected as Interim chair of Confederation of Indian Australian Association Inc (CIAA) on 17 Aug 2013. 

 Currently Vasan is the President - Federation of Indian Association of Victoria (FIAV)

Since FIAV’s establishment in 1989, actively participated in its activities Former Chairman of Advisory board.
2009 – 2010 Member of Victoria Police Reference Group for International Students
2009 – 2010 – Numerous high level State and Federal ministerial and advisory briefing and liaison roles relating to Indian student violence incidents and matters of importance to multicultural policy
