Mr Paramjit Jaswal


Param Jaswal is the Managing Director of The Imperial College of Australia and Education Access Australia - two of the largest private education providers delivering vocational qualifications to Domestic and International students in Victoria and Imperial College of New Zealand in New Zealand and Kolej Bandar in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

As a founder of the organisation, Param has successfully developed new programmes for the colleges and established the Imperial brand in Australia, New Zealand and in Asia Pacific.

He has been professionally associated with the International higher education sector since arriving in Australia as skilled migrant for past twenty five years. He has thorough understanding of benefits of education export sector to the economy of the country. He has been actively promoting the Australian higher education sector in overseas countries.

He has also been actively involved with number of community organisation over the years, such as Sri Guru Nanak Satsang Sabha, Sikh Society if Australia, Punjabi Club of Victoria. Ethnic Community Council. He is currently the President of FIMO and Vice-president of Punjabi Club of Victoria. Param has also represented education providers as a state committee member of ACPET (Australian Council of Private Education and Training) Param has first-hand opportunity to understand the welfare and settlement issues of overseas students and new migrants to Australia and New Zealand.

Param is the current convenor of Australia India Business Alliance.

Param has presented a number of papers at Higher Education conferences and forums in Australia and New Zealand on the pedagogy of teaching and learning.
